GLOSSARY
ADD, MODIFY or DELETE PHOTOS IN
YOUR LISTING: This is an option that allows you to upload a new Photo,
Modify or Delete an existing Photo associated with your Listing.
ALERT ADMIN: (Left side of
each Listing page) Is the way to
contact e-CONSIGNMENTS if an item for sale is questionable.
BOLD MY LISTING: For an
additional $1.00 fee per item, you may Bold your Title on the Listing page.
CATEGORIES: Is a
listing of all the Categories featured in e-CONSIGNMENTS (and they link to
Sub-Categories).
DATE POSTED: Is the date the
actual Listing is posted and viewable.
DELETE THIS LISTING: (Left
side of each Listing page) This is where you can delete your Listing if your
item has been sold.
DESCRIPTION: Is the
description of the Item that is for sale
e-MAIL THIS TO A FRIEND: You
can send a particular Listing to a friend.
EXPIRES ON: (Left side of
Listing page) Is the date that the Listing expires and will no longer be
viewable.
GALLERIA: For an
additional $2.00 fee per item, you may have your Title
listed in BOLD, RED AND ITALICS and your Listing might even be rotated for display on e-CONSIGNMENTS Home Page.
HOME: (Top of each page) will
link you to the Home Page of e-CONSIGNMENTS.
LENGTH OF LISTING:
is the number of days people can view your Listing.
LINKS AT
THE TOP & BOTTOM OF EACH PAGE:

"Search Listings"
link takes you to "CATEGORIES" page, so that you can search for
Listings by Category and Sub-Category.

"Sell" link
allows you to post New Listings on e-CONSIGNMENTS.

"Edit Listings"
link allows you to Modify Your Listings, Renew Your Listings, Delete Your
Listings, or "Add or Modify Multimedia Files" to your Listings.

"My Profile" link
allows you to register for an account or to update your registration information
at any time.

"My Checklist" link
will display all Listings that you have added to your checklist. (Listings that
you have are interested in and marked for future recall and viewing.)

"Auto Notify" link
allows you to create, modify or delete a personal search agent that will
automatically send you new listings by e-mail that match your pre-defined
criteria.

"Help" link will
cause a pop-up help window to appear. In many areas of the system, this will
contain context-sensitive help information related to the topic or page that you
are on.

"Search For" box
(Below the Navigation Bar) allows you to search for Listings by keywords within
a specific Category or All Categories.

"Browse Listings" (Below
"Search For" box) allows you to quickly see all Listings within the
specified Category. Just click on "Browse Listings".

"Advanced Search"
allows for more advanced searches by keywords, including Boolean options,
Case-Sensitive searching, Date-Range searching and searching for Listings with
Photos by just clicking on the "Advanced Search" link.

"Power Search" is a
powerful full database search on specific criteria and within ranges.
LISTING INFORMATION: Contains
information on the Category, Price, if Price is Negotiable, Item Number, and
Date Posted.
LISTING NUMBER: Is the number
assigned to a Seller's Listing in a specific category.
LISTING PAGE: The Seller's
Listing Page is a publicly accessible page where all of the Seller's items are
listed for sale.
MODIFY THIS LISTING: Is where
you can Modify your Listing.
MULTIMEDIA FILE: is a Photo that can be uploaded and viewed on e-CONSIGNMENTS Listing pages.
NEGOTIABLE (YES or NO): If
Seller chooses, the price is NEGOTIABLE and you can bargain with the Seller.
PAYMENT TERMS: Is the way by
which the Seller is willing to accept payment from Buyers (Check, Money Order,
etc.).
PayDirect: It is possible to
select Yahoo!PayDirect as a payment option for your purchases.
PayPal: It is possible
to select PayPal as a payment option for your Listings.
PHOTOS: This
means that a picture of the item is included with the Listing.
PHOTOS (in Listing): Click on
the Thumbnail Photo to enlarge photo for better viewing.
PRICE: Is the price the
Seller is asking for a particular item. Some prices are negotiable and Seller
will indicate this in the Listing by checking the YES or NO box..
PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT:
This policy lets you understand how your personal information will be treated as
you make use of the e-CONSIGNMENTS Web Site.
REGISTER: In order to sell an
item on e-CONSIGNMENTS, you must register. Registration is free and it is
required. This helps provide all participants with a safer environment to buy
and sell. Your registration is private. Read e-CONSIGNMENTS Privacy Policy for
more information.

Guidelines to buy and sell on e-CONSIGNMENTS.COM
SALES POLICIES: As a Seller,
you choose how you want your transactions to proceed. You need to specify the
following:

Decide what type of payments you
are willing to accept from buyers (Personal Checks, Money Orders, Cashier
Checks, Credit Cards, PayPal, Escrow Service).

Specify who pays the shipping
costs - you or the buyer.

Indicate when you will ship the
item.
SHIPPING TERMS: Is the
method by which the Seller is willing to ship the item to Buyers (U.S. Mail,
UPS, etc).
TERMS OF USE (ACCESS AGREEMENT):
As a condition to and in consideration of receiving and accessing the
e-CONSIGNMENTS Web Site, all Users agree to be bound by this Access Agreement.
This Agreement describes the terms and conditions on which e-CONSIGNMENTS offers
you access to its services.
VIEW (specific
category) LISTINGS POSTED BY
THIS USER: (Bottom of every Listing page) allows you to view Listings
in the specified category posted by this particular Seller.
VIEW ALL LISTINGS POSTED BY THIS
USER: (Bottom of every Listing page) allows you to view ALL LISTINGS posted
by this particular Seller.
